Just FYI, word going around the neo-nutzie crackahsphere is that the Don Don is a false flag candidate arranged by none other than BEEL CLINTUN (and presumably HIZ PAYNISS) in order to disgust everyday voters and give RepubliKKKans a bad name (by telling the screeching, orc-like Republican base exactly what they want to hear and saying exactly what they’re thinking).
2
Honestly, who has time for civility or common decency in this fast paced world?
3
Let's also keep in mind that even at this point, Caligutard was obviously an asshole and a moron--and he was (s)elected preznit twice! Never underestimate the Idiocracy.
4
KPD and mostof US law enforcement vidicated Trump today !

6
I do wish people would start treating Donald Trump as a serious candidate (at least as much as they do for any other Republican). There's plenty to dig into without making fun of his appearance. Same goes for Christie. They're all awful people, no matter what they look like.
7
It is absolutely terrifying that these are our GOP presidential candidates. This is closer to a reality show cast than a political event.
8
@7 correction: This is closer to a reality show than a political event
10
Trump murdered it! Straight off the top. Everyone knows he doesn't believe in all that religious bullshit anyway and is pro choice.
11
I'm sorry everyone. I know better than this.

@4,

Do tell?
13
I don't come in here as often as I used to. Can anyone tell me what @12's deal is?
15
#12 ?

Dude, Kasick stood up for marriage equality and went to a wedding of a friend. He stood for it. And he got cheers for it. I donno. It was about the only positive thing to come out of there.

I certainly laughed.
21
Somebody ban this wacko
24
To be fair to Huckabee and the FairTax, there is a "prebate" of about $200/month that untaxes the first $20K or so spent, and used goods are untaxed.

It is sad about the opposition to abortion even for rape and health issues.

All in all, seems many villages were missing their idiots tonight.

27
@13,

I'm going to go ahead and assume that question rather answered itself.
34
Grandhifive, did I mention my son's name? And he was 31... Have we met? You are stoned/ high on?..
Two words for these talking insects,
Politicians.... Climate Change.
38
Hifive; I'm guessing you'll suddenly disappear in your morning- from this thread, we talked before? When you presented yourself in another
form/ name?
Alcohol then, you on meds of some sort and you're not taking them?
Because your posts are a little off centre. Hope you ok..
43
Oh, you ate the therapist?
I loved my therapist.. Just got to find one you can really connect with. Then it's emotional
Heaven.. Like the perfect mother.
45
Dan paves the path towards extinction..
I feel
Dan paves the path towards connection.
He's a straight shooter with a warm heart and sometimes a very savage tongue.
46
You really 22, Hifive? Got your life ahead of you.. So don't waste it, being a little mind bended. Go find some real
Help, get your mind a little more aligned with the general
Populace.. Keep some of your poetry, a little madness is not a bad thing.

One of my sons' is 23.. Intense age.
I had five sons.
51
Trying to communicate with you. Who is Alexander?
The pressure broke thru.. Yeah, it does that. Still, that's what you work with. Don't waste your life, whatever pain you've suffered, it can be healed.. Make the effort. In your hands , now.
52
So a girl was pregnant with your child and she had an abortion? The love of your life..
Pain, you know.. Comes with life.
See it all like a dream.
53
Asleep at last Hifive?
The muse song is good.
54
I multitasked last night, switching between this and the live stream of the Canadian leaders' debate (for our upcoming federal election). Wow, two very different worlds.
I'd happily trade you Stephen Harper for Donald Trump. Trump's hair doesn't frighten me.
55
Does anyone else kind of find it scary that Trump seemed like he had the most honest and clear vision out of all the empty suits on stage?

Not that it was honest and clear, but compared to everyone else up there, he seemed downright presidential. He was not afraid to admit that several "liberal" ideas were probably better than what we have now, and seemed to not really care that much about hardline party ideas. He was bold and relatively unguarded.

These are odd times indeed.
56
LavaGirl, your prose style has always been a tad elliptical and incoherent, but I'm afraid ghandifive is a bad influence - you're starting to sound like him. Come back!

Speaking of ghandifive, could someone ban that random-bullshit generator already?
57
Incoherent, Lance? Fuck you. I mean, just because you can't stretch your brain around corners, isn't my fault.
And there was I on last week's thread, letting you still
Be the chef and butler at my all girls' party.. Up to
Letting the girls in , that is. Well, I recind that.
58
@55 - personally, I think Christie nailed it more than Trump. Not to the extent that I agreed with him on much of anything, but he actually seemed relaxed and authoritative (although cranky), and was relatively well-informed. Walker also seemed pretty together. The rest were ridiculously bad - Carson seemed like he was high or sleepy, Rubio just spouted GOP boilerplate, Kasich looked like his face was melting, Huckabee was in full angry-evangelical mode, Cruz sounded like a dentist drill, Paul couldn't get any traction with his outsider schtick, and Jeb! was most pathetic of all - a total deer in the headlights, rattled by everything Trump spouted.
59
@57 - See? There you go - you're back! That was perfectly clear. (Love you Lava :) )

But we've really got to do something about this gandhifive. That is some pure thread-hijacking right there.
60
I think Trump will get a bump in the polls after this. And the GOP "establishment (remember when their current "establishment" was considered the outer right-wing fringe of the GOP? Yeah kids there was a time that was the case) is going to have to deal with Trump well into next year: until he finally gets bored with this running for President thing.
61
@58: Christie was probably the most reasonable, but I cringed when he brought up his 9/11 hugs. Especially weird since he should have referenced Sandy since that was a big acheivement of his and that was what was actually being discussed.

Walker looked OK, but I think was was mostly because all he got were some real softballs, I do not recall any real cutting questions coming his way. He never got knocked of scipt and just got to coast along with GOP boilerplate/red meat.

I think Jeb was most tentative because he knows he actually has a shot at the nomination, so he has to parse every word. The clown car candidates can just pop off because they don't have a chance in hell.
62
Thank you Dan for a laugh-out-loud good time made even better by this coverage.

63
Lavagirl your parrying Hifive is pure artistry. Well done.
66
@64: I am forced to speak comparatively because none of these rubes look or act presidential.

Compared to the other empty suits on the stage Trump seemed presidential, as he was the only one not just regurgitating standard GOP words, and almost approached human levels of charisma (maybe a 6-8 in D&D standards) Hell, he even admitted that single payer works in Canada, he should get a gold star for that one alone, since the bar is so low.

No cockroach is pretty, but if you are judging the Cockroach Beauty Pageant, well...
67
Yep. Hifive has been eradicated. Wonder who that guy is? A relative, perhaps..
I'd think I was just merrily chatting away to myself, yet I know you saw him Lance.

Only can hope the Republican party don't choose idiot face Trump.. Which they won't. He then runs as an independent, why would he not.. And the fuckwit votes are nicely split. One of the democrats win for another four yrs and the world dodges the bullet just a little longer.
68
Thank you Mach@63.. He's been here before, I'm quite partial to slightly crazy poets. Hope he's normal ish, when not drunk.
69
22 is a prime age for schizophrenia.

Ghandi/hifive/etc please get evaluated. Some of the damage can be reversed if caught early.
70
True Sandiai, he was able to be momentarily lucid. Troubled boy, I felt for him.
71
OK, in light of all the furor about Trump's issues with women, and particularly his issues with (allegedly) hormonal, bleeding women, is it time to start using his name to describe those particularly nasty Periods From Hell? (Dan, you may want to shield your eyes for a bit here...) The kind where your bathrooom looks like the set of the next Saw movie, your cramps are on a par with first-stage labor, you're so anemic that you make Victorian consumptives look like the picture of glowing good health, you don't dare leave your house without a mattress between your knees, and "Shark Week" is more like "Shark Month"? Yeah, THAT kind of Period From Hell...been there, done that, hope to never do it ever again. "God. I can't believe how badly I'm trumping this month--never mind tampons, just hand me that sheep over there!" (After all, it's been a while since "santorum" took off, right?)

Please wait...
