Between the full moon and Halloween, it's the proper time of the year to get weirder than usual. Here's our top ten left-of-the-dial picks for this week, including a perfect cult classic double feature, malformed techno-mancing witches, and a birthday party for the Fremont Troll.

TODAY
Rocky Horror Picture Show/Beetlejuice Double Feature
Chop House Cinema returns to Chop Suey, with the iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show rubbing sequined shoulders with cult classic Beetlejuice.

WEDNESDAY
UnCaged! Thrill Night!
UnCaged! is a bimonthly talent show-spectacle of "unique humor, music, yummy netherparts and feats of human-like art stuff." This month's event, naturally, is Halloween themed.

JMPW, Madeleine Cocolas, Braeyden Jae, and Nathaniel Kennon Perkins
Vermillion gets weird with ambient, experimental, and electroacoustic music.

THURSDAY
Codename: Kansas, Witch Hunter
An "experiential" piece at 12th Avenue Arts that will immerse you in a post-apocalyptic world, complete with "malformed techno-mancing Witches.”

FRIDAY
Less Bark, More Wine
It's a wine-tasting night that also encourages you to bring your dog. Hopefully the smell of all those dogs won't mess with your quaffing.

Creature From the Black Lagoon
The Northwest Stream Center Auditorium will give a "fascinating" 30-minute presentation on the eating habits of dragonfly larvae to "get you in the Halloween spirit." Then, they'll show the 1954 film Creature of the Black Lagoon.

SATURDAY
Troll-o-Ween 2015
It's the Fremont Troll's birthday! There will be a performance, which in the past has included variety/comedy shows, dramas of trolls, musicals about trolls, and Greek myths. Following the performance will be a costume walk on stage and then an annual Haunt of Fremont (a march around Fremont with a band).

Bushwick Book Club Takes on Carrie
The reliably interesting Bushwick Book Club will present their songs inspired by Stephen King's horror classic.

Pulse
Seattle's longest-running adult Halloween Party (12 years) takes the EMP for an "excessive, exaggerated, extraordinary" Halloween, complete with a $4000-prize costume contest, multiple entertainment rooms, and themed decorations.

SUNDAY
Weirdfest
Operatic duos and trios performing burlesque, experimental jazz yodeling, and "exciting cat music."
