I might just pass on this one. I'll be rooting for you to win.
What a great idea LW. Congratulations!

I can't imagine jewelry from gun steel being that much fun for prolonged skin contact. Blecch! Wedding rings are gold for a reason. The fanny paddle, on the other hand, is something I could definitely get behind.

This campaign has probably generated enough buzz that member's of the esteemed asshole's staff will just plant a winning entry from some local humper so as to avoid the humiliation that'd come from the gun going to a non RWNJ.

I have to wonder how hard it would be to have it shipped to locations outside Iowa--or if it would be legal. If so, there are also organizations that turn guns into sculptures.

.... @4, I do want to take guns away from law-abiding citizens. Guns are designed to kill things at a distance, and often accidentally kill kids, or fall into the hands of the criminals folks are trying to protect themselves against. Guns make it really easy for someone feeling sad to make a really permanent decision really quickly. Or people in an argument with their significant other.

So yeah. Take the guns away from everybody. They're not worth the risk.

@5(DaniellinDC) One can ship across state lines using licensed gun dealers as brokers-- this Federal Firearms License can be acquired for about $150, too, if you wanted to keep it in the family. I enjoyed the gun-sculptures I was able to find, thanks for that (almost wrote”gun-cum-sculptures”. Saved a few people from a spit take, there.). I bet we could go beyond rings and paddles-- here's the place to cumball! I mean spitball!

@4(Teckel) I think people are directing faggy hoplophobia towards people in power who have been cruel to us and ours, who are using a raffle to farm email addresses. I didn't know the word “hoplophobia”. It's a good one! I've heard “faggy” before, though. So that post zeroed out.

@2(saxfanatic) We could laminate the inner surface of the rings with brass from the other bits...? Though a section of a long barrel could give a paddle some serious leverage....

@ 4 You're just the sort of person who obviously has no clue about guns, possibly isn't very bright in general, and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a firearm. "single shot hunting rifle. It holds prob 3-4 shells."?! Were you intoxicated when you wrote that? Furthermore, the picture shows (and the caption mentions) a Henry lever-action rifle, which has a tubular magazine under the barrel.

I tried, but it won't let me enter without a contribution of at least $5! Illegal, no?

OMG, what a fabulous idea! I vote to send a butt plug to each of the signers as a token of, hmm, esteem?
#2 Saxfanatic - I see what you did, behind there.

"The honorable douche-nozzle", eh? Maybe we should make enema nozzle tips out of the gun, as well...

Please wait...
