Washington Monthly's 'explainer' about the DNC data breach is as crappy as any other media source whose job it is to portray this as SCANDAL, SCANDAL, SCANDAL! Instead of technical issues that could have been handled in house by respective IT staff, if only Debbie Wasserman-Schultz wasn't a malignant, incompetent, conniving opportunist looking for a chance to take a hammer to Sander's campaign.

I think the Snopes article is probably more accurate and neutral. It recognizes the fuck-ups but also makes note of the same things happening in the past without making headlines, and that the strategic value and importance of the data is being consistently overstated by Hilary partisans and the media, because SCANDAL, SCANDAL, SCANDAL!

I'm still waiting for the inevitable ham-fisted reboot of the media lynching of Howard Dean.

It will happen to Bernie Sanders. The only question is when to set the over/under date.

Regarding the earlier about free public college for rich people, I see nothing wrong with the rich sending their kids to public college for free. I do see a-lot wrong with the rich not paying their fair share in taxes while our tuition costs skyrocket and social safety nets disintegrate.
The point of progressivism should not be to fuck over the rich or get revenge for how much they have collectively fucked us.
Lets make ourselves more civil here in America.

@47: The inclusion of Disney and David Koch on that list both make me cringe; both only give/gave money to philanthropic causes that are more likely to benefit them directly later. Still, thanks for the link. I am also fully in support of this Dan-hosts-DNC-debate-in-drag idea, and not just for the alliterative ease of advertising it.

As a straight dude, the inclusion of ass is fine. I certainly prefer a woman's in my own life, but these guys (especially Terry) instead inspire Frazetta aspirations. Thanks Dan.

Now now be nice to Raindrop, he's attracted to the sparkly trinkets. It is easy to forget that Carnegie and Rockefeller only became big time philanthropists after they killed thousands of their workers both directly and indirectly.

On the other hand Ohio has an amazing library system in part because of them, the other part of course has to do with a Republican Governor shooting a bunch of college students. But you know the powers that be always do the right thing after they've done all the wrong things.
