No thank you. I already have a problem with those damned Kung Fu movies (they are EEEVVVIIILLLL, C.A.N.N.O.T. S.T.O.P.😩😖😡!!!), another ADDICTION I do not need.
OK I am on it, however I want Netflix (or somebody, anybody!) to make a documentary about what makes cops want to murder unarmed black people. This is the greatest true crime spree in American history and it goes back centuries. We MUST find a way to end it. #BLM
So I grew up in NE Wisconsin and was about the same age as Avery's nephew when he was arrested. Those were my local newscasters and this was THE story. My mom, my dad, everyone I KNEW followed this story and everyone felt in their heart of hearts that they were guilty. I can't wait to see the discussion here because for me this feels personal and I can't imagine how fucking backwards we all look from an outside perspective. I cannot emphasize enough how certain we were that this man did exactly what the prosecutors said he did. It wasn't a question. Each episode of this made me want to vomit because of how blind we were to the truth.
It's been hopeful to see this get so much attention. Perhaps something positive will come from this documentary?? We finished it last week, too and it took some time for my muscles to stop feeling like stones. Good insight, @5.
The hardest part about watching the series is resisting the compulsion to Google all the players involved and find out what's become of them. "Is that smirking sleazebag still licensed to practice law," you wonder? etc., etc.
