The one on the left could end up as the next first lady, at least for Trump's second term.
2
(So I guess that would not be the next first lady, but the one after that; all depends on how soon she turns 18).
3
I don't know what that was, but I'd be amazed if it was those girls singing live. I'm no expert, but isn't that a studio track? And, don't the voices sound a bit more mature than those girls look?
4
Eek. Ignoring the creepy indoctrination of these poor girls who have no idea who they're supporting ... the Republican Party wonders why they can't attract any celebrities or entertainers to endorse them? It's almost incomprehensible how lame they are.
5
They sang President Trump in amongst all the propaganda. Are we in 2017 and I slept thru a year or something?
And all those people who support this right wing fascist moron, I sure hope homeland security have their names and are keeping a very close eye on them.
6
@3: That struck me too.
7
All y'all are fired.
8
This feels like something from an Alan Moore comic. It's insane.
9
This just may be the campiest thing ever. I want a dress just like that,

Even if you were okay with the spectacle of little white girls in mini skirts parroting the madness of their pedophiliac sponsor, you would go mad if you gave a moment's thought to the words spewing out of their demon-possessed mouths. What does it mean to chant "freedom" and "liberty" in front of a crowd determined to build a wall around the country and carpet bomb the rest of the planet? I suggest that it means killing anyone and everything that stands in the way of free painkillers and a bigger television. Or perhaps it means nothing at all. Just a big, empty, everything-is-justified nothing.

Christ. If I wasn't sick already, I sure am now.

I suddenly have the urge to start goosestepping.
12
They stole the rhythm track from Blondie's Heart of Glass. Sue the bastards!
13
Well done, girls! Nearly every line of what you're singing runs counter to the views Trump has expressed, and policies he has advocated. If you pushed it any further, even the slack-jawed yokels in the crowd might identify the whiff of satire.

@9- It's more kitsch than camp. Like Kundera said: 'When I say “totalitarian,” what I mean is that everything that infringes on kitsch must be banished for life: every display of individualism (because a deviation from the collective is a spit in the eye of the smiling brotherhood); every doubt (because anyone who starts doubting details will end by doubting life itself); all irony (because in the realm of kitsch everything must be taken quite seriously); and the mother who abandons her family or the man who prefers men to women, thereby calling into question the holy decree “Be fruitful and multiply.”'

Dwight dear, Sontag wrote of camp as being comprised of "artifice, frivolity, naive middle-class pretentiousness, and 'shocking' excess." I think that performance pretty much encapsulates all of those qualities.

And we mustn't be too hard on those poor girls. When I was a young Catalina, I participated in something called a Drum & Bugle Corps, which is sort of a militarized marching band. They have elaborate field shows (similar to halftime shows) often focusing on patriotic themes, and I survived that without becoming some sort of crypto Republican. And we once even performed at an event that Ronald Reagan spoke at.
16
Catalina, I agree. Those dresses are super cool. The skirt is very 50s.
That's where Trump is promising these people he'll take them back too.
Women and N... knew their places and white straight man ruled supreme.

I just have to say this: If I see one more left-leaning site describe this ridiculous performance as "scary" or "terrifying", I am going to..... I don't know, throw up my hands in exasperation, or drink a bottle of Amaretto.

This is three pre-teen girls performing a STUPID song for a bunch of STUPID people, some of whom are there just because they had nothing better to do that afternoon, and some of whom just wanted to see that man from the TeeVee.

Note to my fellow liberals: Not everything on the right is the second act of Cabaret, and this is no "Tomorrow Belongs To Me". Trump and all the rest of the GOP candidates deserve scorn and ridicule, not overwrought hand wringing from the Internet.

Please wait...
