@1: Not being a dick? Obama is unique - a man from humble yet compelling birth, exuding immense personal charisma, a compelling speaker, who people instantly trusted to make a considered, rational decision on every issue. I still do trust him. The GOP missed real opportunities when they decided to obstruct him across the board.
Rubio is not that guy. Frankly, no one in this race is. Obama is a rare bird.
@3: Ugh! My comment was about how it's not uncommon for freshman senators to not have a list of impressive accomplishments - not a setup for your racist drivel.
Obama actually had a remarkable track record in the Senate given that he was a freshman Senator in the minority with an opposing party in the White House.
With Senator Lugar, he expanded an program to reduce the stockpile of weapons left over from the Soviet Union. With Senator Coburn, he authored the Coburn-Obama Transparency Act which established USASpending.gov. He also sponsored foreign aid for the Congo.
@1: I think the point is that Rs were soooooo concerned about the lack of experience when Obama was running and now just 2 cycles later, lack of experience magically doesn't seem to be an issue.
@1 - Yes, but the point was that Santorum criticized Obama in 2008 of being inexperienced, and spent the next seven years saying he was doomed to fail because he was elected without enough experience, and then turned around and heartily endorsed someone who also has little experience or accomplishments.
Now, I personally think that having a vision and a plan is also something worth considering (something Obama had and Rubio doesn't). But the point of the article was about Santorum's hypocrisy.

This all became law.
