Meh.

Not as good as Sherm's.
2
I like this one.
3
Forced, jarring. Cliched. But it's a tough form to write well as this poem shows. But kudos for trying.

What is a poetry chain and why is it cluttering Slog?

Can we soon get a way to ignore categories?

YEA for Rachel! She does totally rule!

"You were who you were before you came here."

Yes. Thanks, Rachel.

It's weird, it's jarring, it's a little confused. Her choice of subject matter is perfectly suited to the style. I like it.

I *still* miss reading Rachel's brilliant writing that used to appear every week in The Stranger.

Reads like "A Tramp's Tale." Was that the point?

WOW, Rachel. I've known you forever and you still make my head spin! Great poem! You totally rule.

@#4, No one is forcing you to read each post and to share your thoughts. Is keeping Slog "uncluttered" really a concern? Do you actually require an "ignore" category to keep yourself away?

I have never been on this site before, and only came upon it by accident. I used to write poems when I was younger, after a tradgedy in my life to help myself heal. I haven't written anything in at least 20 years. I have say first of all, I love the poem, I get it... Second, I honestly feel inspired to write again. So thank you Rachel Kessler for the inspiration. This time around, No Tradgedy...

Please wait...
