Rebecca Brown taught an amazing creative writing class at UW Bothell several years ago, and I'm so lucky to have taken it. If you have a chance to read her limited-edition book Excerpts from a Family Medical Dictionary, do. She's a great writer, but a really good teacher, too--and she has awesome taste in music.
