There are a ton of readings tonight, including a mystery in which someone is shot and someone gets a massive deposit in their bank account; a novel about a "covert battle between angels and humans;" two fantasy authors; an uptight Seattleite; and a novel about reincarnation.

Jeff Garlin reads at Town Hall. My Footprint is a memoir about how Garlin, who appeared on and behind the scenes of Curb Your Enthsiasm, tries to shrink his carbon footprint. Gee, a book tour might not be the best way to help with that, Jeff.

But the reading of the night tonight is at Pilot Books, which will host a group reading of Kristen Kosmas' book-script Hello Failure as part of their ongoing Small Press Fest. The New York Times reviewed a performance of Hello Failure here. I think this would be an exciting thing to attend in a space as small as Pilot Books.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
