We have a reimagining of Pride and Prejudice at Queen Anne Books tonight, a book about psychic power and passion colliding at Third Place Books, and two events I'm going to tell you more about.

Ben Huh reads at Seattle Public Library tonight. He's the guy who's famous for making lots of money and paying minimum wage to employees of his LOLCats empire. Now he has a book: Lessons Learned from the World of LOLCats, FAILS, and Other Blunders. This reading is a cultural high point for the Seattle Public Library, and on Shakespeare's birthday no less!

And there will be a Suggests for this reading popping up soon, but the reading of the night is at Elliott Bay Book Company tonight. Sherman Alexie will host an evening with PEN World Voice authors. Genius Award-winner Alexie (who also just won some piddling little literary award called the PEN/Faulkner) brings three international authors on tour to Elliott Bay's brand-new reading room. I wrote about one of the books in this week's Lunch Date. It's a great opportunity to see Alexie and introduce yourself to three up-and-coming international authors.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
