It is so rare that I have something to add to these weird internet memes. But I can't keep this one quiet: If you would like to celebrate Boobquake, you should read Philip Roth's novella The Breast today. It's a very short book about a man who, Metamorphosis-like, wakes up to discover he has transformed into a giant breast.

It's definitely not one of Roth's better-known stories, and it's a bit of a departure for him: kind of an inward-focused fairy tale. I quite enjoyed it. And if you're going to spend a day thinking about boobs, you could do worse than sit and read The Breast. It will only take a few minutes of your time to investigate one of the high points of 20th century breast-related literature.
