Gordon Edgar reads at Elliott Bay Book Company this afternoon. Edgar "is in Seattle as a participant in the annual Cheese Festival." He will also read from Cheesemonger: A Life on the Wedge, which is a title with a very egregious pun.

Jonathan Johnson and Brett Eugene Ralph read at Open Books this afternoon. Johnson reads from In the Land We Imagined Ourselves, which is not so great a name for a poetry collection. Ralph reads from Black Sabbatical, which is an awesome name for a poetry collection.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
