Who did the illustration?
"Meanwhile, Russian émigré writer Jerry Shteynfarb made the rounds, buttonholing attendees with a stapled copy of his latest memoir, Look at Me! I'm a Big Freaking Immigrant."

That line alone made it worth reading. Thank you for both entertaining and depressing me at my job of selling books. Real, spine-and-cover, flippy-pages, tree-killer books.
@1 James Yamasaki. I wanted to call attention to him by writing about that amazing illustration of his in the text of the post, but I guess that worked against me. Adding his credit to the image itself now, too. Yamasaki deserves all the laurels in the world.
I tried skimming but the subject of the article was not of interest to me. That illustration is awesome!
