Two readings tonight.

Ingrid Stabb reads at University Book Store tonight. Ms. Stabb reads from The Career Within You: How to Find the Perfect Job for Your Personality. I can understand why she didn't name it The Stabb Method.

But the reading of the night is at Elliott Bay Book Company. Mishna Wolff celebrates the paperback release of her memoir, I'm Down. It's a memoir about growing up in the Rainier Valley as the daughter of a white man who identifies as black. That is Ms. Wolff as a child on the cover of her book there, to the left.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
