(Before we get into readings, let me address the ladies directly: Don't forget about Ladies Night tonight at the Comics Dungeon. I told you all about it yesterday.)

Naomi Hirahara reads at Seattle Mystery Bookshop today. In the press release, they're calling this a one-woman book festival featuring all the author's titles, "plus treats from Uwajimaya Market."

Many of the minds behind Urban Craft Uprising will be hosting their own mini craft book-festival at Elliott Bay Book Company this afternoon. A bunch of local crafters will sign their books and give advice for budding entrepreneurs. You can take a look at the authors who will be there on Elliott Bay's site.

And Fantagraphics Books is hosting a show of artwork from the book COVER STORY Volume Two: Odd, Obscure and Outrageous Album Art. Contributors Aja West and Cheeba will make an appearance. Nipper loved all over this book yesterday on Line Out, too. If album art is your thing, this is where you should kick off your Saturday night.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
