Just yesterday, I told you about how people were demanding that Amazon stop carrying a Kindle edition titled The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct. Amazon responded by saying they would not censor their stock. I wrote that this was a good choice on Amazon's part.

Today, it looks like Amazon removed the book. In typical Amazon fashion, they're not commenting on pulling the book, either. (Seattle Times has more, giving a thumbnail history of objectionable books that Amazon has carried, including a previous pro-pedophilia book that they still carry.) Since Amazon hasn't commented (and probably won't ever comment) on the removal of the book, I can only speculate. Here is my speculation: This is bullshit cowardice on Amazon's part.

Now that the outrage monkeys on the internet know they can get Amazon to stop carrying a book, what book are they going to go after next? I'm personally offended by this book, a Kindle edition of a book titled The White Man's Bible. It's a hateful white supremacist tract with a chapter titled "Who Needs Niggers? or, Elimination of the Black Plague." Should Amazon ban that, too? It's a much better-selling book than the pedophile book, which was at 158,221 in Kindle sales ranking. The White Man's Bible is ranked at 27,207 in Kindle sales. Is Amazon racist? Why are they carrying this book? They've already proven that they'll take down objectionable material if enough people object on the basis that it promotes illegal activity. Does this mean that The White Man's Bible isn't promoting crimes?

What about this book, which teaches people how to make their own bazookas? Or this one, which teaches you how to make homemade fire bombs? Are they for Al Qaeda or against them? They have proven they are against pedophiles by removing books with a pro-pedophilia agenda. Why are they not removing books with a pro-terrorist agenda?

Or this book, about the secret homosexual agenda to destroy America? This is a totally offensive book that I don't want them to carry. I think it promotes hate crimes against gay people. Why is Amazon still carrying this book? Why does Amazon hate gay people?
