Harriet Baskas reads up at Secret Garden Bookshop tonight. Washington Icons: 50 Classic Views of the Evergreen State is a collection of photos and essays about Washington state, which went halfway crazy with bad decisions during the last election but at least did not elect Dino Rossi for Senate.

And Jared Duval reads at Town Hall tonight.Duval is the author of Next Generation Democracy: What the Open Source Revolution Means for Power, Politics, and Change. That last election didn't feel very "open-source" to me.
