I've already told you about the free party for the launch of Typetrigger that's taking place at Sole Repair tonight, but for some reason, tonight is packed with literary events. Here's a preview of the best stuff happening tonight:

Wallace Shawn is in conversation with Sean Nelson at the Sorrento. This is one of their dinner events, and it appears that ticketing has closed. If you're interested in attending, you should call to see if tickets will be available at the door. Shawn will also be reading at Town Hall tomorrow night.

Beloved Irish novelist and journalist Colm Tóibín reads at Elliott Bay Book Company.

Local personality Ron Reagan will be reading from his memoir, My Father at 100, at Town Hall tonight. It's a controversial memoir, mainly because the younger Reagan claims his dad had Alzheimer's Disease while he was in office. Michael Reagan disagrees.

And! And! It's time for Cheap Beer and Prose at the Hugo House. Beer will be a buck a can, and readers include Suzanne Morrison, David Schmader, Jeremy Richards and Emily White. The reading starts at seven. These events are always a good, raucous time.

The full readings calendar, as always, is over here.
