1. In one hour, actors will perform a little play based on the beloved book Go, Dog, Go! at Secret Garden Books in Ballard. This should be delightful.

2. Tonight at the Fantagraphics Bookstore and Gallery in Georgetown, a local cartoonist's collective called Bureau of Drawers will be celebrating the opening of a group show called Lovesick. I am so glad that we have a local cartoonist's collective. If you love cartooning, you should head down and show your support tonight.

3. In non-illustrated books, Amber Nelson and A. Minetta Gould will be reading at Pilot Books tonight. Nelson and Gould are authors of chapbooks titled Your Trouble Is Ballooning and Arousing Notoriety, respectively. And Hugo House is hosting a reading named "Secrets." This is an all-female reading, with the exception of the evening's host, who is some fellow named David Schmader.

4. You can find many other events that are happening this weekend in our lovingly crafted readings calendar.
