I know that this is just some pop-trash-tourist-fiction about a country that is mysterious to most Americans, but I can't help feeling that it is offensive. Having spent a good amount of time in Morocco, as a white woman, I can say that not only is it safe, but that Moroccan people are for the most part kind and gracious. Traveling there in the larger cities is a little more dangerous than it is in the countryside, especially if you disregard custom and advice, but it is no more dangerous than most major US cities. White lady readers, ignore the scare tactics that make for a good, exciting read and give Morocco a visit- it's awesome!
