I would say that the difference between myself and a school (or mall, theatre, etc.) shooter is that I have self control. I have not read this book but it sounds interesting and will give it a look; I did read "Hey Nostrodamus" (Douglas Coupland) and enjoyed it. I am particularly interested in getting inside the head of these killers to find out what really motivates them. Our general news media rarely does this.
