When will someone say the truth? If I were to say obesity is a huge cause of early death through diabetes and other issues like heart failure am I health shaming? Obese people have blood that is more like ketchup. Think that’s healthy for the heart? When was the last time you saw a fat person in their mid seventies or older? You don’t… ever. But let’s talk about how it’s ok to be obese because you shouldn’t be bullied or shamed. Just know you’ll die sooner and have all sorts of health issues.
@2 You seem to think obesity is actually a choice. There is a huge list of diseases that one can develop that make the odds of reaching their mid-70s very low. You won't say the same to them because you consider fatness both a moral failing and a choice.
There are some people that can say that. Are you giving all obese people a free pass? I really could give a shit. If I don’t walk at least two miles a day I get fat. I don’t want ketchup gumming up my heart so I walk 2 miles a day. I’m a Democrat that takes responsibility for what I do and say… an endangered species.
@4 Yes, I'm going to give all fat people a pass. I'm not one of you centrist Democrats who had to stake your support for "diversity" on some idea that it isn't a choice. I'm fine with people who refuse to conform to the demands of society as a whole, and let their freak flag fly proudly. So if someone's biological tendency is to grow fatter over time as they enjoy their life, and they choose to enjoy good food, and ignore narrow minded fools like you, more power to them! I can't tell by looking at a fat person why they are fat. Maybe they grew up hungry, and only feel safe at night with a full belly. Maybe they used to have a body like a Rugby player, and stayed fit running their ass of at a physical job, until an injury turned them into a desk jockey and limited their ability to exercise. Your assumption that everyone has the same options and choices as you do is amazingly entitled.
"...a well-rounded defense..."
I see what you did there!
