i used to have the parents dying fantasy too, but mine stemmed from my love of 'different strokes'.

I think everybody fantasized about their parents getting dead when they were young. Either when you didn't get what you wanted for Christmas, when you were grounded for a month, when you had to clean your room and keep it clean, or when they didn't understand your teenage "problems."

At least you had a good reason. Two lives lost to create a Superconstant to save us all.
