Great review, and diary entry, very encouraging to us out here slogging in the trenches. Glad you found a bit of hope in that pile of slush.

Very entertaining review. Didn't go where I expected it to, and that's all the better.

Absolutely no comma needed or wanted there.

If you're looking for someone to take "El Monstruo" off your hands, I'm here.

I just bought this book.

Also, I gave up the Oxford comma when I learned Spanish, as you never, ever use a comma before "y," and suddenly the Oxford seemed superfluous. Now I have been corrected. The panda says yes!

fantastic review, thanks for breaking out a little!

I gotta read this book!

not sure if I will read the book, but I absolutely loved your review. Thanks!

Nice review, other than the bitching about Oxford commas. -Particularly- annoying to cite The Times - the general style in UK and Commonwealth English is to omit the comma. Last I looked, The Times is published in the UK.

It took me three re-reads to see what the smirking was about with Ustinov and his dildo collector. Oh well.

Fucking fantastic review. Made me laugh, made me want to read the book, didn't go where I thought you were going. Completely turned me on.

Please wait...

and remember to be decent to everyone
all of the time.
