Nancy Kress, whom I have no personal bias about, is an amazing author who i really enjoy. She's on the truly excellent and outstanding SF authors working today.

Paul, I love your reviews, and I'm going to give it a read. I think Matt Ruff is another Seattle transplant, and that you reviewed his book, Mirage. Mirage also had an interesting premise. I just finished Mirage, and it was fantastic and certainly thought-provoking. Anyway, I'm a fan of the reviews.
