If I may: dudes, as long as you think that EVERY guy women actually go out with are creeps, and as long as you even consider that ALL women are lying whores, you are fucked up in the head, and not in a state of mind capable of healthy relationships. In Dan's defense there, the guy was suicidal and perhaps not ready to hear the news that it's his fucking problem. Would he have really gone stark-raving mad had Dan been straight (pardon the pun) with him? Probably not, but there's always that chance. Under the circumstances, I think he did a decent job. Of course you're right, SC, and Dan has told similar people so in the past.

Jesus christ LAS is fucking scary. I really hope he got help and did not turn into a serial killer. Dan should've told him that perhaps the reason why women rebuff him and his friends can offer no advice is because EVERYONE IS AFRAID OF HIM. No one he knows wants to say outright that he's a terrifying, angry psychopath, but that's probably what they're thinking. They're afraid that if they give him the honest truth, they'll be dead by the next day.

As I was reading his letter, I couldn't help but be forcefully reminded of Jared Lee Loughner, and that photo of him grinning like a deranged maniac.

Anyone who has anger problems like this, and threatens to kill anyone who pisses him off because he "has nothing to lose", is probably beyond therapy, and should commit himself to a psychiatric facility ASAP.
