FRONT OF BOOK Letters: Back to a mere half-page again. One suspects that this week's shrink in size is due to the sheer volume of negative letters Dan Savage received following his warmongering feature last week, proving yet again that The Stranger is little more than a cowardly publication... Last Days: David Schmader is without a doubt the most intelligent, honest writer The Stranger has. Keep up the good work sir!... NEWS See Feature... SHORT FEATURE: Skimmed... FEATURE: It is good to see that even as Mr. Feit's news section crumbles into irrelevance, he is still capable of writing a coherent article... FILM Two relatively smart pieces by Sean Nelson (surprise!) and Charles Mudede, respectively. Unfortunately, both pieces are irreparably soiled by yet another dunderheaded review from Bradley Steinbacher... BOOKS Didn't read... ART Skimmed... THEATER None... CHOW Didn't read... MUSIC Three solid pieces. New writer Jenny Tatone is a delight!... ETC. One-Night Stand: Didn't read... It's My Party: Littered with personal information from Ms. Wilson. Is there no real gossip in town this week?... Celeb I Saw U: I am unable to comment on this week's (ridiculously too gay) column due to pending legal action... I Love TV: Didn't read... Savage Love: It is heartening to see that Mr. Savage's offensive "tighty-whitey" contest has been marred by legal wranglings... Obits: Didn't read.
