I remember reading this piece of advice to the bisexual woman when it came out. And I was so disappointed. I too was in college and itching to find girls... but lesbians are weary of bisexuals, and men all think it's a phase aimed at turning them on. Dan himself seems to distrust bisexuals because they tend to migrate towards social acceptability rather than fight for the same-sex connection. Nerdz.

Re: CONFUSED - If she is asking if the relationship ended because she had sex with him too soon, she may be misinterpreting her friends' advice... I have also recommended waiting longer for sex, but not for the purpose of lengthening a relationship - rather to protect yourself physically and emotionally from moving too fast and getting attached to someone who isn't as into the relationship as you are.
