The whole beginning of women shaving is pretty interesting - it happened during WWII, when nylon was restricted for public use to help the war effort. Gilette seized upon this as an opportunity to sell more razors. They advertised that women could shave their legs and draw pantyhose lines with an eyeliner pencil to recreate the same effect. Stylish even during wartime!

Soon, it became less a creative solution and more an obligation for every woman, every patch, every day. Now the boys are catching up.

In lsmene's world, only mom-jeans and low-rise pants exist.

And I prefer a little bit of hair over scratchy, irritating stubble any day.
