The entire concept of "sex addict" is completely divorced from reality, and it is simply not possible to become addicted to sex. The word addiction has a very specific scientific meaning and people (men) who seek multiple partners simply do not meet the criteria for a physiological addiction. But you gals go on thinking the reason men want sex with other women is because they are sick addicts, and not because your ass passed 200 lbs. on the scale a long, long time ago.

First of all, heavy women do not have trouble getting laid. I used to be over 200 pounds and had no trouble at all.

Secondly, men dating drop dead gorgeous women still want other women because NOBODY (women included) is naturally monogamous. Monogamy takes effort, which is why so many people fail miserably at it.

But I agree with you that there's no such thing as a sex addict. And having sex "too soon" isn't going to stop a guy from having a serious relationship with a girl if that's what he really wants from her. It's a problem for women, sure, but when a guy wants a serious relationship he can usually transform a one-night stand into a relationship simply by calling the next day! I know at least one guy who has done that.

What the hell? #14 and 15 are dead on. This column has gravitated way too much toward being a forum for people to brag about their sex lives. Sometimes they veil this braggadocio in some kind of complaint, but who do they think they're fooling. If you really had a problem, you wouldn't tell the whole of Seattle about it.

Being cheated on in some circumstances may be because of one person's weight but more times than not it is because monogamy just isn't natural for a lot of people.

If cheating were a "hotness" issue then Halle Berry, Shania Twain, Christie Brinkley, Pamela Anderson, Sienna Miller, Princess Diana (the list goes on and on) would never have been cheated on.

These are known to be some of the most physically admired women in the world and they were cheated on. In all cases with a much less attractive woman.

Anyone who refers to his dick in the third person--let alone calling it his "idol" has been reading too much Penthouse Forum, and/or just doesn't talk to women much. So this was my submission/confession about a month ago. I really didn't think it'd get posted. Honestly, I don't feel like I'm too much different than most guys who use girls or vice versa. I was really just kind of depressed that I didn't seem to want anything more from any of these women. Recently though, I met someone who rocks my socks off. We have been in a monogamous relationship for a little over a month now and I've never been so thrilled.

It's true what they say, there is someone for everyone.

Getting laid and being in a relationship are kind of two different things.

You get laid and then be in a relationship ... or your get in a relatioinship and maybe get laid. (Personally I think the former is a tad more empowering ... regardless of gender.)

Either way ... just because you get laid you don't feel entitled to a relationship and vice versa.
