I've always wondered this, because mosquitoes love me. I was curious though, what affects the amount of nonanal in a person? Does diet have an effect? I always speculated that my sweet tooth had something to do with it.

Am I correct in pronouncing this as "Non-Anal"? As in, your non-anal odor attracts the skeeters? In which case, would some anal odor repel them?!

An oscillating fan sweeping over you *really* helps throw the little buggers off your scent/CO2/body warmth trail. Stationary fans work pretty well, too.
