Anger Clouds the Mind

To add to that, I hope the bears are extra-aggressive due to having consumed large amounts of COCAINE and MALT LIQUOR.
2
YAWN! Yet another "i-am-an-empowered-woman-until-I'm-a-victim-all-women should-be-treated-and-paid-equal-even-when-moving-boxes-and-fighting-wars-i- is a mans-duty" speeches. Sounds like there is a lot more to this one-side story than meets the eye..

ok, the person Anon is complaining about is an asshole. But it's really difficult to sympathize with Anon's cause then they go rattle off a hate ridden post of their own. So all I can say is fuck all ya'll hate mongers! I hope you get four flat tires in a rain storm bitches!

yeah

Next time you get too drunk, I hope you mistakenly lurch for a band of bears, "get hit by a car," and get your brains spread on the pavement, and that the police are as callous to your predicament as they were to hers.
I, Anon just lost the "high ground" ...
5
Sounds like karma.
6
she's white, right?
7
Righteous Vs. Bigots repeat.

I am right you are wrong: 1; equality and compassion: 0

You lose game over.
8
@2 such a MANLY man remark.
9
I'm with anonymous on this one. I have zero compassion for anyone who commits a hate crime, especially one serious enough to send his victim to the hospital.
10
@2 wins the internet stupidity olympics today. Trying to formulate an argument against something that stupid is like trying to hit a ball of mashed potatoes with a tennis racket.
11
Walking around with that much anger is like taking poison and hoping the one you're mad at will die.
12
Dear IA, if you were walking a woman to her car, why didn't you step in, and prevent the attack.

Some man you are.
13
You can't fight hate with hate, I, Anon. Your letter is filled with the same ignorance and bitterness as the person you're writing to displayed.

And "eye for an eye" doesn't work. Have we not learned this yet?
14
@12 I think OP is a woman.
15
i'm surprised there aren't a bunch of people commenting and blaming the one who got attacked and injured like on the I anon dog biting fiasco.
16
ouch!
17
When you get assaulted while minding your own business on a Seattle street(and the odds get better every year),perhaps you can share that with us.

Then we can figure out why you obviously wanted to be beaten up (since your behavior indicates you're begging for it), and why you couldn't be a real man and deal with a bunch of kids giving you a hard time (since your behavior indicates you're a cowardly old fart).
18
(the above was of course about the idiotic first "comments"... which must have been clickbait invented by the huge editorial staff working at this multimillion-dollar publication... since no real person could possibly be so dumb as to argue that people are nearly killed by strangers for perfectly valid reasons and should not expect any punishment for doing so... then again, if you stay in your childhood room I guess there's no reason to fear for your personal safety.)
19
What is it with assholes coming into Seattle to get drunk and assault members of our city's queer community? Fuck off back to the boonies you pricks.

And take Seattleblues with you.
20
And to all you assholes out there who are posting some variety of "Just turn the other cheek! Take the high road!"

Fuck you. No problem like this was ever solved by letting the violent asshole in question continue to be a violent asshole at their own whim.

And protip: wanting the violent asshole to suffer at the hands of the very group they're assaulting and degrading members of doesn't make one an asshole, or even lower them down anywhere NEAR the violent asshole's level (who has lowered themselves as far as one can by committing unprovoked acts of harm as motivated by bigoted hatred), so stuff that assertion back up your toxic assholes and shit your pants with it.
21
@19 I just got an image in my head of the aggro homophobes coming to Seattleblues' house at night, taking him by the hand, and flying him Peter Pan style to a magical land where he can be among his own kind.
22
I don't think I Anon loses the moral high ground.

It's ok to be angry and hope bad shit happens to someone after you or a friend of yours is attacked. It's ok to express those feelings, especially in a relatively safe way on anon.

Hopefully both the victim and her friend can get past this incident without too many emotional or physical scars.
23
@12 You seem oblivious that the woman who was attacked was probably biologically male (thus the "faggot" slur) and the friend was probably a woman.

Unfortunately there was no manly man like you (yeah, I'm sure) to step in and save the day.
24
@2, I don't understand this modern phobia of the word "victim". Yes, if you are attacked by some violent jerkoff, by definition you are a crime victim. So what? Why should people be ashamed for being victimized? The victim didn't do anything wrong and there is nothing wrong with the word "victim" when used in the appropriate context. Some random person beating you up makes you a victim of a crime. There's nothing wrong with admitting that and it should bring shame to the perpetrator, not the victim. This modern word phobia is just downright weird.

lesbians usually have at least c+ weed. get a gun. nothing says respect my right to alternative lifestyles and choices like a big ole gat jammed into somebody's crotch area
