Does the "nothing" that happened on Halloween include the shooting death of a teenager just outside Garfield High School?

I think that the age to try minors at should be lowered to about 13- as after that age, if you're still doing incredibly dumb shit like beat up 50 year old tuba players, you don't deserve NOT to be put in jail, as it's more than likely you'll just turn out to be a total shithead for the rest of your life anyway. If nothing else, they should be forced to 5 year's worth of community service playing the tuba outside of sporting events.

Seattle Times tonight told of the fact that Tuba Man did not die at the time of the beating itself. He fell to the pavement after one of the thugs hit him in the jaw and hit his head thereon. He was taken to a hospital (unnamed) and was treated "briefly" and was then released to go back to his home. He was found dead there some time later from the injury to his head. The question now arises: why did the hospital release him so soon, after knowing of the kind of injury he had sustained. Isn't at least a one night stay required? Did he insist on being released or was it because Tuba Man didn't have much money? I hope to find out in time.
