Consider that the reason David S. mentions the victims's professions is not that their lives are inherently worth more, but because it severs to up the irony of their predicament. Who do we least expect to be caught off-guard than the people who eat/sleep/breathe this shit?

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Head Met Desk is ranting at Schmader in large part because of his supposed lack of empathy and understanding towards animals yet repeatedly and bombastically calls him retarded and denigrates his intelligence? Typical of animal rights person. They always say that animals are just as worthy as us, but frequently don't know how to treat us any better. Animals do need to be treated humanely, everyone should start with the animals that they see everyday in their houses and workplaces.

Honestly, who in their right mind could look at a woman in her 30's, without a terminal illness or injury and determine that she needed HUNDREDS of pills by prescription?! Howard K. Stern and Anna's doctors are in some real trouble. Issuing prescriptions to fake names and under the name of Howard when the drugs were used by Anna are both pretty serious violations of the law. They're called "controlled substances" for a reason. Ironic that in this instance they were used to actually control a person. No doubt the enablers were drugging Anna so that they might realize a nice payday if Anna's ridiculous claim against the Marshall estate ever paid off. however, I think that Howard and friends should've done a better risk/benefit analysis because there was no chance of Anna's frivolous estate claim ever paying off (hence the reason all appropriate courts all ruled against her) and upon Anna's death from over-medication there was a high probability that at some point someone would start looking to the source of all of the prescriptions she was abusing. Now Howard is in real trouble and even his last desperate effort of petitioning the Supreme Court was rejected. This has been a bad month for him...

I'm a bit surprised by the use of the phrase 'and three innocent bystanders' in reference to the first serial sicko. I'd argue (unless there's something about his family that I don't know) that all ten victims were innocent bystanders.
