I've paid into the same insurance company my entire adult life, and they should have the right to drop my coverage the instant I get sick without interference from the fucking stupid democratically elected government!

I hate the fact that under Obamacare, I might require a corporation to render the services that I pay for!

You and me, gillettebret, we know how much Jesus loves billionaires, and demands that CEO's make multi-million dollar bonuses. Good thing their's lower/middle class guys smart enough to believe everything Glenn Beck tells us, and are willing to fight to protect corporations' rights to do us harm!

So, no one had time to read the bill? Not a single elected official? How long has this been debated? And no one had time to crack open that very thing which they were debating? If this is the case we must then assume that no congressperson ever reads any bill and all the debate and every function of congress is just made up on the spot.

The only thing I could focus on in the first story about the pot bust was why the two women mentioned were so much younger than their boyfriends! First dude is 59 and the g.f. is 21... second dude is 38 and his g.f. is 18. WTF?! Can't these women find men their own age? Or assuming that most men are 5+yrs more immature than their age, maybe five yrs older than their own age. Why are these young women dating old dudes?

Some comedians [commediennes] do a pretty effective job of making a political statement, even while getting people to laugh. Daily Show anyone? Stephen Colbert at the White House correspondents' dinner? Pointing out the error in your opponent's ways by making him look the fool is pretty great, although admittedly it's usually preaching to the choir.

Obviously we need to immediately round up all 46-year-old Pennsylvania women leading quiet lives of boring work and failed romance, as a preventive measure.

i bust my ass. all day. seven days a week. i'm not alone. there are millions of people just like me. we're also proud we work hard. but not so proud that we couldn't use some help when we get sick.

we're not 'freeloaders' or 'hippies' or 'commies'. we're hard working people who could really use health care.
