Maybe there was a rapture it's just nobody is Christian enough to have been pulled! I felt a sort of tug on my collar at one point...

I'm sure there were lots of gay sex and abortions going on in Joplin, that's why they deserved it.

(Just for clarity: I don't think that.)

Once, Mr. Luckier and I were woken in the dead of night to a drunken Irish voice singing the same Lionel Ritchie songs, with a narcissistic twist on the lyrics:

I've been alone with me inside my mind
And in my dreams I've kissed my lips a thousand times
I sometimes see me pass outside my door
Hello, is it me I'm looking for?

I can see it in my eyes
I can see it in my smile
I'm all I've ever wanted, (and) my arms are open wide
'Cause I know just what to say
And I know just what to do
And I want to tell me so much, I love you ...

Makes me laugh every time I hear that song.

What IS it with creepy twenty-something white guys?

I hear ancient evangelist Harold Camping now says that "Rapture, II, The Sequel" will be broadcast live in Oakland on October 21,2011. Good seats are still available. Too bad he didn't reset it for April Fools' Day, 2012.
My condolences to those who gave away all their personal possessions---only to wake up on Sunday, May 22, 2011, business as usual.

Trouble in Trebilcockland?

Who is this Jesus person anyway; does he do happy endings?

Please wait...
