The loss of Dianna Hanson is really sad. I never knew her or her family, but do know that she graduated from WWU in 2011. Condolences to all.

The loss of limbs due to a stupid bar fight is beyond insane.

Everybody should have guns, even 6yo's. The NRA should hand out free firearms for all- hopefully the Darwin Effect would counterbalance all the other innocent people shot with them. Brother!

6 year olds with guns? Really?? How about the Marysville
cop who has to live with the fact that negligence on his part
for 2 minutes while he and his wife went into a gas station,
and leaving their children unattended, claimed the life of their
7 year old daughter because her 3 year brother was playing
with Daddy's gun.

@2: Actually there was a time in this country when people raised their children to be responsible from the age of 9. In any case, sadly, there won't be a Darwin effect, because when everyone has a gun, no one can misbehave with guns and everyone knows this. You don't get to be a mass-killer in a place like that, you get to be swatted like a fly likely before you've killed a single person (unless you get a REALLY lucky shot) and forgotten.
