I realize that Obama is black, I didn't know that it was an all-consuming badge of honor that could be abused to deflect legitimate criticism. Is this going to be a serious Q&A column or just an all-purpose opportunity to twist open-ended letters into stale, contrite jabs at the haine du jour?
