Sometimes I wish a writer would give us an update here in the comments - I'd love to hear how that 7-page letter was received.

Yeah, I think the same. If I ever send Dan a letter and he answers me, I'll visit the comments page a few years later and update. People should really do that.

I'd love to know about Seven Page Letter Guy, too. The good thing about not knowing is we can pretend it worked out fabulously, and they got together and lived happily ever after. (In reality, she probably gave him a kindly brush-off speech, which broke his heart.)
