I was surprised that in all of this three-way conversation no one mentioned the tit-for-tat exchange which has been so commonly broached with this subject in this column before. Namely, the "I'll show you mine if you show me yours". Especially in the response to SHAG (which started the whole show) offering a BBG three-way in order to get a BGG three-way. It's like offering pegging in order to get anal, you may still get turned down, but they can't tell you that you aren't being fair.

My personal advice is that a three-way with a partner and a third is not optimal. Better to find two others who are not romantically attached to you.

In my own case I have no interest in BBG so I will not request BGG, but then I am one of the few whose interest in three-ways does not make the list of top desires. I actually turned down a three-way offer from a couple of hot girls a couple of years ago. That night I was more interested in going home, getting stoned, and watching football on TiVo.
