By the way, Sherm, where are you on the harassment of the Native carvers around town? The cops are harassing them still, though it calmed a bit after John T's murder, it's picking up again.

I lived in the beautiful Cascade neighborhood (remember that place?) from 1997-1999 and am pretty certain that the half-way houses, sobering center, etc. well predate the gentrification of the neighborhood. Fortunately, there is a concept in land use planning referred to "moving to the nuisance" that should help protect these places from the bobos.
