For the record, A LOT of people can "pull off" a motorcycle jacket; that's why it has been in fashion since the 1950's.
(In fact, that is what the whole exhibit is showcasing).
Maybe you should have spent more time following up with the local designers who contributed to the exhibit.

I just went and I loved this exhibition! I thought the combination of high-low elements was really great, loved looking at all of the album covers, hearing punk music, and trying on jackets and thought the well-traced history in general was really cool. Anyone who likes the meeting of music and fashion would like this exhibit. I would definitely see it again.
