And you can bet good money the second this person asserts this position to any of their fellow travelers they'll instantly be branded a "traitor" to the cause and summarily shunned by them. Because, when you live at the political extremes it's more important to adhere 100% to the ideology than it is to do anything practical to get even part of it manifested in the real world.

I haven't seen a lot of chatter on the internet about Sanders supporters flocking to candidates other than Clinton. Since she clinched the nomination, she seems to be tacking to the left and adopting some of Sanders' agenda. This is exactly how the system should work.

Jill Stein would sound less delusional if she spoke in "I believe" rather than "When I win, I'm going to".

And how did the Xian Right take-over in the years since Goldwater's loss? By running stealth candidates in off-year elections for offices like school boards and city counsels.

I didn't take many cycles for the number of stooges to tilt the Republican party's local organization to their will.

Did Right wing crazies ever seriously run David Duke as a write in candidate? Of course not, they aren't THAT crazy.
