People are understandably tuning out: http://www.gallup.com/poll/1597/confiden…
3
Well, maybe the Stranger could use its resources to criticize media coverage instead of bothering with nobody candidates like Stein.

@1

Folks are determined to vote for Trump because Hillary is such a deplorable person, let alone candidate for President, that they would literally vote for ANYONE who was not Hillary.
So blame the Democraps for making Trump's candidacy a success.
If Biden were the nominee this would be a totally different race.

What @1 said.

People sometimes mistakenly believe the news is here to report the news. They're not. This is America - they're here to make a profit. Any accidental reporting of the news is merely a side-effect.

@4

Is this little nugget your copy pasta for the day? This is the second time I've seen it today. It's totally false, by the way.

The people voting for Trump LOVE him because he is a loud mouth bigot that will say anything to get elected.

The 'never Hillary' types are mostly going for Johnson or Stein, because most of them are also 'never Trump' as well.

You may want to use Hillary's negatives to justify your support for Trump, but we both know you support him because he is a racist, homophobic, zenaphobic troll; just like you.

Your not fooling anyone.

@3: Isn't that literally what this post is doing? Or are you meaning something more substantial, like an article in the paper?
10
@8

Silly you, you're quoting Hillary voters….
11
@9

Well, yes, this one post. But have there been any others of this nature in the past month or so? Maybe one about Matt Layer, but I would have liked the Stranger eviscerate him with the vigor it mocks Stein, who is inconsequential as a candidate.

"Repeat a Lie often enough and people will believe it" - Joseph Goebbels. Even the Seattle P.I. is repeating this irrelevant Hillary's Health story, when the truth is even were she dead, Hillary would make a better President than Donald Trump. A wet and dirty dish-towel reeking of vomit and dog feces would make a better President than Donald Trump.

"A wet and dirty dish-towel reeking of vomit and dog feces would make a better President than Donald Trump."
Best argument for Hillary so far...

Trump gets a massive advantage simply by no one having any expectation he'll tell the truth or remember what his position was from day to day. Hillary looks like a hypocrite because she seems to have ideals that she might betray, but Trump is immune to that because he simply has no morals and everyone has accepted that. Hey Trump's foundation is completely crooked? Duh, of course it was just a tacky scam, it's Trump. Hillary was selling access to the Secretary of State's office via the Clinton Foundation (which actually does good works)? DAMN THAT WOMAN.

Honestly I don't like Hillary Clinton much. Bernie Sanders is not only more to my taste politically, he is undoubtedly a better candidate.
16
The MSM has no expectations that a Republikkk will do anything but prevaricate and deflect the simplest of direct questions (like Pence did today, refusing to allow that David Duke was "deplorable"). But they can't call anything a lie; that is slander, and Trump has cowed them into submission by liberally suing anyone who dares to say so.

Democrats get held to a higher standard. Meaning, they're actually held to a standard. IOKIYAR.
19
@15: Bernie's a better candidate. Hillary would make a better President.
20
@18 - Exactly. Accusations that one is "only being academic" usually amount to a complaint that one is being factually correct.
21
Thank you, @19.

I think Trump is disgusting and I'm voting for Hillary not because of my opinion of Trump but because I think she's basically a good person and will make an excellent President. If I was expecting Mother Teresa, I would never have voted for Lyndon Johnson. I did, and I wasn't disappointed (Vietnam excepted). He instituted social programs Kennedy couldn't have because he knew Congress, and Clinton will institute programs Obama couldn't because she knows Congress.

The media don't even bother covering Hillary. Screaming Trump headlines make more money for them so they'll keep "reporting" them.

Anyone who thinks the news media (including The Stranger) are doing this as a fair and objective public service needs to get a skull MRI. Even The Stranger has to kiss ass to the advertisers who pay for space, which colors what it covers as well as how it covers some issues.

Really, all in all, compared to the backgrounds of some other members of both parties who might have been candidates, about the worst sin Hillary has committed that I can see is she has a vagina instead of a penis.

I'll be voting when I get my ballot in October. On November 1, I'm flying to Australia for a long ago-planned vacation. If Trump wins, I'll apply for a resident visa or asylum or whatever they'll give me so I can stay there.

The people who vote for Trump absolutely will deserve being forced to pay hell for having done so if he wins.

The people who stubbornly refuse to vote because Sanders didn't get the nomination (the "Sanders Sulkers") deserve far, far worse, and will very likely get it with Trump in the White House.

The people who vote for the other two are seriously out of touch.

The people who don't vote even though they're eligible because they never bother to vote should be rounded up and put in camps.

Can't wait to see Hillary fold up under the hot tv lights during the debates.
26
@25: I can't wait to see someone actually contradict trump's bullshit in real time.

BTW, "tv lights" aren't incandescent anymore. LEDs aren't that hot. you might want to enter this millennium eventually.

Please wait...
