He's like Jason from the Friday 13th movies. It doesn't matter how stupid or illogical the scenario. He keeps coming back from the dead. The ego is strong with Dumbo Dino.
2
Oh god, not "Ego" Rossi.

Pam Roach is considering running???

Between her and Trashp, it would be like two internet troll bots trying to out-troll each other.

I'm not sure why Rossi would want it (this seems like a downgrade from governor or senator), but he probably has a decent shot at it if he ran. The district is pretty evenly split, so it could very easily go either republican or democrat. Rossi has instant name recognition, probably more than any other potential candidate. That alone gives him an advantage. Though he's a republican, he's more moderate than Reichert, which makes him an easier sell to a purple district.

Don't get me wrong. I despise Rossi, I would never vote for him, and I'm not in his district. But if I were a republican strategist, I would probably be pretty excited by a Rossi candidate. This will inevitably be an ugly, big-money race. Though he lost for both governor and senate, he came very close in both. He's an experienced campaigner and fundraiser. He would be a pretty tough candidate for democrats to beat.

@4 - I would not say that Dino Rossi "came very close in both" when he ran for Governor and Senate; it also not true that he "narrowly" lose to Christine Gregoire both times (as claimed by Ana Sofia in her brief history on Rossi).

2004 was narrow - the closest gubenetorial electon in history. No question.

But Rossi was soundly beaten four years later by Gregoire - 53.24% to 46.76%, a wider margin than Inslee-McKenna (51.5% to 48.5%).

As for Rossi's run for US Senate in 2010, he was beaten by Patty Murray 52.4%to 47.6% - not what I'd call "very close," especially since Rossi already had statewide name recognition from two gubernatorial runs in the previous six years.

I would asssume that the Republican nomination is Rossi's for the taking - but that's not saying much, and one has to wonder if Rossi has another run in him.

Hahaha. Dem+1

I bought a car from a guy like Rossi once.

@1 CC-Rob: I know, right? It's like, where's the fucking hockey mask? Enough is enough already. The guy lost the Washington gubernatorial race--TWICE---and he still doesn't get it.
@3 Original Andrew: Oh, shit--I forgot about Pam Roach. Ugh! I wouldn't be surprised if she already exchanges online barbs with Twitler.
Can't we at least celebrate the long overdue exit of the Turd Reichert?
@4 Reverse Polarity: That's like telling someone in Stage 4 lung cancer, diagnosed with three to six months to live, and whose quality of life has been shot to hell that 'Hey, cheer up! Chemo isn't all that bad'.
@5 NoSpin: Thank GOD Patty Murray beat Mafia Don Rossi's arrogant ass, and is now serving her 5th term as Washington State Senator.
@6: Well, gee, after eight months too long of the train wreck run amok that is Trumpzilla, I'm for putting Democrats BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE, SENATE MAJORITY, HOUSE, CONGRESS, AND SCOTUS. You're welcome.

I don't see how the Democrats can possibly fuck this up but given our recent history I'm sure we'll find a way.

Would love to see Congressman Rossi! He seems to be unusual. He is honest and wants to do what he says he will. Let's hope there is not the same type of voter fraud that caused the miscount in King County in 2004. Let's see, shuffling in dead people's votes, felon's votes and neglecting to include the military. Honest mistake???

Please wait...
