Back in the 8th, Dino Rossi is boasting endorsements from from 120 elects in Washington. Some of Rossi's supporters include Washington State House Rep. Matt Manweller, who's been accused of sexually harassing students and trading blowjobs for good grades. Manweller denies the allegations. An investigation by Central Washington University is due out sometime in August, according to One News. The three dumbest people on King County Council—Reagan Dunn, Kathy Lambert, and Peter Van Reichbauer—have also thrown their support behind the Trump delegate. And then there's good ol' Rodney Tom, a "Democrat" who's actually a Republican. Strangely enough, Tom's name no longer appears the list of endorsees on Rossi's website. Rodney Tom told me over the phone he doesn't know why his name was on there in the first place: "I never officially endorsed Dino Rossi. He's a Republican and I'm a Democrat," he said. Rossi's campaign now calls the endorsement "a mistake."

Meanwhile, down in the 3rd, EMILY's List endorsed Carolyn Long, a Washington State University professor and running against incumbent Jamie Herrera Beutler in the 3rd Congressional District. This was an expected but still welcome endorsement, according to a spokesperson. "We're excited that they think this is a winnable district just like we do," he said, adding, "We know it's going to be a close race. Jamie Herrera Beutler is pretty bad about women's issues. She has a 0 percent rating from NARAL, she frequently speaks at pro-life events, and this district is a pro-choice district. She's clearly out of touch."

Long could use the money. Though she's she's raised $606,000 (and half of that in the last quarter), Herrera Beutler has raised $1.5 million over the last couple years and has a little over $1 million cash on hand.
