As someone who has worked with her and her staff directly, she's fantastic and would be a great candidate for Lands Commissioner.

There is DNR land in Seattle proper?
So are you saying that there were more people passed out on the sidewalks, more homeless encampments, more people using drugs and leaving needles in their wake when the nasty old white men ran things?
I worked for King County about a half mile south of the stadiums from 2020 to 2022 and I saw those things every single day.
Hard to imagine it used to be worse.

@6, there is, the submerged lands in Elliott Bay, at least the bits that weren't sold off before someone decided that was a dumb idea.
