Kelly Link’s stories are impeccably crafted curio cabinets, and they often escape the New Yorker crowd because they’re usually classified as science fiction. Link’s newest book, Get in Trouble, is filled with superheroes and astronauts, but her stories have tons more to say than the umpteenth MFA-approved story published this year about a fortysomething white guy having an affair. Tonight brings a rare opportunity to see Link read in person, which means you get to spend time in the same room as one of the greatest living short-story writers in America.
