Balls Deep: My Year in Florida is Petersen’s "reflections on Florida, punk rock communities, and a slowly sinking swampland." Petersen is hilarious, smart, fierce, and perverse. Florida is outrageous, alligatorial, hotter than hell, and corrupt as can be. One of those forces is going balls deep into the other.
